The Midcoast

A story told through 4 beautiful young women, who driven by circumstances, land up in Bombay in the hope of realising their dreams, "Love Marriage". They start to live together making adjustments and compromises they hadn't planned for. As they begin to settle, their professional lives take off in different directions. However, when the line between their professional and personal lives starts to blur, the real drama begins.

After a harsh childhood, orphan Jane Eyre is hired by Edward Rochester, the brooding lord of a mysterious manor house, to care for his young daughter.

A depiction of how over 1,000 Nordic women in the 17th century were burned at the stake as witches. They were innocent but received death sentences that were supported by the Old Testament laws that had been introduced at the beginning of the century. Hundreds of people confessed to crimes of which they were innocent and were executed.

Jim Bannon, the host, would ask Dr. James A. Peterson, associate professor of psychology at USC several questions before the show about the dramatization that followed. Then the actors would play out the roles of the scenario.

Boma is a fresh university undergraduate, from a humble background, whose quest for tertiary education is threatened when her father is involved in an industrial accident which leaves a financial strain on the family. Irene on the other hand is a final year student; a glamourous "Big Girl" who is the cynosure of all eyes on campus.
