The Lowlife

Jon and his daughter Hanna are delighted when the head coach, Ms Burke, invites Hanna to join the cheer squad. But when the new assistant coach, Devan, turns out to have an unhealthy interest in Jon, the duo's delight soon turns to fear.

A young engineer is called back home, which he had left years before. The house is a crumbling, old mansion in which his father still works, illegally distilling vodka, much of which he drinks himself. He is alcoholic and unhappy. His sister is cynical and disturbed, had attempted suicide. His aunt is tired and sour. Their purpose to bring him there is to play on his sympathies and eventually make stay, to make him work and take care of them. He refuses and returns back to the city.

TWO EYES is a cinematic triptych which follows three main characters in three distinct time periods: in Late 19th century Montana, an artist Dihlon seeking inspiration for his art, explores the landscape with his Native American guide Jacy and finds his conceptions of himself and the world around him challenged. In 1979 Barstow, California, the mundane existence of a questioning youth Gabryal is given a shot of adrenaline by the arrival of a new exchange student Alasen who envelopes them both with her lust for life. In present-day Wyoming a trans teenager Jalin works through his self-destructive feelings with his perceptive, non-binary therapist Andrea. Exploring themes of gender, love, grief, and the power of art to transcend time, the seemingly unrelated narratives are ultimately interwoven into a single powerful storyline that reveals the deep and eternal connection between all three characters.

He vows to start the company "Mithila Makhaan Private Limited" once again but the road to this entrepreneurial venture in hinterlands of India is not easy. In his pursuit, he fights against odds and especially the Makhaan Mafia Brahma Singh. Mithila Makhaan is a riveting story of triumph of human spirit.
