The story of two country girls who dream of love and freedom while dealing with parents and boyfriends.

Jack, a youth of Arab descent, was forced to continue the shop owned by his father, Wak Dollah. In order to follow the wishes of his father, Jack is willing to study in a department that is not in line with the world of art that he loves. It is almost seven years he studies there and still does not graduate. The atmosphere become increasingly heated when Wak Dollah learns of Jack's closeness with a Chinese girl, Meyling, Halim's only child. He is the famous owner of a Chinese medicine shop in Surabaya.

With his father's death, Chandran takes the responsibility of his family along with the debts that his father has left behind. He also has to save his love from getting married to someone else.

Bonga and three other good-hearted bums give shelter to homeless children and find adoptive parents for them. One day, a rich boy, tired of his parents' indifference, ask Bonga for shelter, saying he is homeless. From then on their lives change.

Mild-mannered and devout Mr Bonilla, accepts a government job without realizing that he is to be the town's executioner. This leads to comedic misunderstandings.
