The Doomed Battalion

In a noble villa of Bagheria, near Palermo, two spouses, Silvio and Leda Pataneo, spend their days devoting themselves mainly to the care of a citrus grove.

Interpol special agent Dev Verma teams up with Rod Stevens to finish off a dreaded opium syndicate operating out of Burma. An assassin called Fat Man slays the enemies of the syndicate's head, the Princess Kamar Souria. Other gang members, especially Hannif, want to wrest control from the princess. On Hanif's payroll there's shady Reeta, the daughter of a judge named Krishna who's attempting to end the syndicate by making its members fight among themselves.

The story takes place in the summer of 1980 in Brindisi, Italy. Martino is a young man whose father isn't giving him enough attention. His older brother and his friends, including Silvia, a young northern Italian who spends her holidays in the south of the country and has a romance with Martino. Young people tend to enter an American military base north, and Martino ends up finding a US military officer, a good friend who teaches him how to surf.

Fatima è uno sperduto villaggio portoghese. Qui, il 13 maggio del 1917 tre bambini, tre pastori, vedono in cielo una bellissima "Signora" che li invita a pregare e a fare ritorno nello stesso luogo ogni giorno 13 dei sei mesi successivi. Ritenuti bugiardi e visionari da tutti, persino dai loro stessi genitori, i bambini subiscono intimidazioni e minacce, ma la loro fede nella "Signora" alla fine prevale. Su questa vicenda, ben nota a tutti i cristiani e non, si innesta la storia d'amore tra una cantante di fado e un giovane di buona famiglia.
