The Deserter

A teacher grieving the loss of a loved one meets a mysterious student who can relieve him of his pain through telepathy. He believes she is healing his wounds until he finds himself growing addicted to her strange powers.

As the Germans brace for what will be their inevitable downfall, the cold and calculated Lieutenant Holtz learns of an American Paratrooper that has landed off-course during an amphibious landing.
