The Box
Grant Hope, an underpaid Rhode Island lawyer, is transformed into the Rhode Island superhero Hope Man. He starts to have this realization after being contact by a mysterious disembodied voice, inside a box, in the basement of his office building.

The Retaliation
After failing to defeat the same mugger as his first night as a superhero. Grant confronts the box, angered and questions whether he should be a superhero. Meanwhile, the Mayor of the terrible Rhode Island city of Despairington comes to take over the law practice, in order for Grant Hope to lost his connection with the box.

The Transition
When Mayor Naughton finally takes over the building, he fires Grant and forces Michael into being his new lab rat. Meanwhile Grant goes off the deep end and plans to go fight Mayor Naughton.

The Hope Stone
Grant loses his fight with Mayor Naughton and continues on to Prospect Park. There he comes in contact with a lost companion. Meanwhile, Naughton gets a step ahead of the game by hiring a little bit of help.
