The Byrds of Paradise

Tal is 17 years old. Naim is 20. She's Israeli. He's Palestinian. She lives in Jerusalem. He lives in Gaza. They were born in a land of scorched earth, where fathers bury their children. They must endure an explosive situation that is not of their choosing at an age where young people are falling in love and taking their place in adult life. A bottle thrown in the sea and a correspondence by email nurture the slender hope that their relationship might give them the strength to confront this harsh reality to grapple with it, and thereby ever so slightly change it. Only 60 miles separate them but how many bombings, check-points, sleepless nights and bloodstained days stand between them?

Follows a budding basketball star on the rise as tragedy strikes when he loses his parents and develops a sex addiction to cope with the pain. During the healing process a forbidden love forms between him and his sex therapist as he rises from the ashes like a phoenix to proclaim what he's worked so hard for his entire life.

In the story of "The Gap Between Her Legs," Montreal born entrepreneur and bulimic girl Bella wants to escape her alcoholic mother, Mariel. Bella thus moves from Montreal to Vancouver. In Vancouver, Bella falls in love with an aspiring Vancouver Lawyer, named Ivanka. The latter act consequently forces Bella to leave her fiancé, Louis. Bella and Ivanka then move in together. While Bella tries to run her expensive clothing store on Main Street, Ivanka seeks employment in the legal field. In the legal field, Ivanka faces discrimination, including sexism and sexual assault. Consequently, Ivanka develops anorexia nervosa. As the two females try to make ends meet, Bella gains the courage to recover from bulimia. However, Ivanka spirals downward. Anorexia threatens the life of Ivanka. This experimental love story is filmed like a rehearsal, taking place both in the theatre and the real world.

A story of Irena, a woman of 37, being a mother of 2 children - a boy of 12 and a girl of 16 - who passionately falls in love with a young guy Andrey, a former secret service man, who is an absolute polarity to her weak-willed husband. As a result of dramatic twists and turns, her husband dies of heart attack, her children abandon her and she retires to a monastery as a lay sister. Andrey keeps loyalty to his love, and starts caring of Irena's children, which results in Irene taking decision to revert back to the world again.

Raghu, the only son of Raghava Chakyar was born late for him. So he poured his entire love and affection on him. Raghu, studying in an engineering college in a far away city has to arrive at his home to attend the engagement ceremony of his only sister. But he doesn't. The father starts his endless wait for his son. He daily waits at the bus stop till the last bus from the town also returns. Raghava Chakyar comes to know from newspapers that Raghu was taken into custody by the Police for political reasons. He reaches the capital and meets the higher Police officials. But they pretended helpless as there is no proof that Raghu was taken into custody. Raghu's sister comes to understand that he probably would have died in police custody after being tortured, but cannot bear to tell this to her father. The old man's grip on reality slowly slips and he starts dreaming that his son is with him.

After nearly killing a young girl on the heels of a big shootout, a sheriff unloads his gun and struggles to move past the moment. His challenge becomes even greater when he finds himself in a lawless town desperately needing his help.
