A mother attempts to pull the plug of her comatose daughter and as a result, she is being sued by her aristocratic mother-in-law.

Businessman and widower, Ravi Kapoor, lives a very wealthy lifestyle in India along with his school-going son, Rajesh. When the business expands, both father and son re-locate abroad, leaving behind Rajesh's childhood sweetheart, Anjali Roy, virtually heartbroken. Ravi lets his employee, K.K., who lives a wealthy lifestyle also with his wife, Kamla, and daughter, Suman, handle the business in India. Years later, Rajesh has matured, and both he and his dad come to India for a visit. Rajesh's attempts to locate Anjali are in vain, and his dad and K.K., unknowingly arrange his marriage with Suman. Eventually both Suman and Rajesh fall in love with each other, leaving Suman's admirer, Ajay, devastated. Then Anjali re-enters Rajesh's life and the two re-kindle their friendship and also plan to get married with the blessings of their respective families. Then all of a sudden Anjali refuses to meet with Rajesh nor return his phone calls. Neither Rajesh nor Anjali know that if even they were fated to meet, their wedding cannot for reason(s) only known to Anjali's mom, Asha.

The film is in speculative family genre, in a world that is filled with prejudices, divided in the name of class, caste and creed, this film will be an eye opener as it narrates the tale of seven beings who come from different cultural backgrounds and live like a family sharing love, respect and care for one another. As mentioned already they are not bonded by blood relation but with love and trust for each other. They share their lives under the same roof and are in complete harmony. The society which is always critical of diversions from the established norms look at them with curiosity and uneasiness. They stand united against all the circumstances thrown to them by the harsh realities of life. They do not surrender to the turmoil that they have to confront in their existence and they stand united against all the odds that they are subjected to. The family members become the pillars of strength for each other during the time of crisis. They instill in each other courage and confidence to face all the hurdles thrown to them. This family mentioned in that film is an epitome of sincerity and commitment which is essential to row forward in film. The film includes dramatic situations which adds to the depth of the tale narrated in the film.
