Summary The Apology is centered around four naive and innocent school girls who find themselves in a very dangerous situation where one of the girls played by Vanessa Pike has had underage sex and is pregnant. Terrified of her parents finding out, her and her friends organize to have a backstreet illegal abortion and it all goes horribly wrong. She almost dies from complications and gets expelled from her prestigious school but that's where her trouble making friends played by Patronello Sello and Kim Frickleton take action and they play a prank which gets them into serious trouble at school and hence The Apology is born. They either sign an apology accepting all responsibility or they themselves get expelled. Tense and emotional scenes follow in which the girls decide what to do. Will they follow the good obedient Head Girl's advice played by Jennifer Welsted or will they follow the extremely naughty schoolgirl played by Kim Frickleton? The Apology highlights South Africa during the awful apartheid regime and how it affected the youth.
