After the animals say "Sorry" to Timothy for accidentally pulling up his father's cabbage plants, thinking that they are "weeds", they make their own animal garden, along with Timothy's help. However, Stripey soon learns that plants need damp soil, a sunny outdoor place and plenty of clean, safe water to be able to grow properly.
