Lina lives a very ordinary life: husband Boris and daughter Nastya, work as a French teacher at a prestigious gymnasium. True, Boris is obsessed with the idea of organizing his own business. Lina's salary and part-time work are barely enough to pay off the loans taken by Boris. Soon the situation gets out of control: Boris leaves the family; Lina is fired from the gymnasium due to a conflict with the influential father of one of the students; Collectors appear on the threshold of her apartment - they cannot find Boris, so they shake off debts from his wife. Lina has to get a job as a housekeeper for the wealthy Karavaev family in order to stay afloat. However, challenges await her here too.
