An aging man arrives with the bus, heading to the pub to get some info from locals about a lady who's living there, as she said. Being in touch for years, only in writing, so time to meet up the loved one personally, but seems like non of them knows anyone who lives around and could be the one.

Back to Basics is a coming of age story about two childhood best friends, who choose very different paths upon graduating high school. The story takes place when Anthony, an uptight businessman reunites with Sean, his principled and passionate, yet troubled foil. Sean finds wealth through hard work and in the arms of his soul mate, but is forced to reckon with life changing responsibilities, while Anthony begins to recognize the true meaning of success and happiness. Despite their seemingly contradictory lifestyles, the duo find solace in what has remained constant, their undying devotion to each other and the values bestowed upon them in their early lives. Above all, Back to Basics is a classic demonstration of the human condition.
