Tengoku wa matte kureru

Finn Gerdes recites his own 1945 short story about a grown up son returning to his childhood farm and his old parents who now are in need of his assistance. Illustrated in original drawings by Eiler Krag.

The underworld who was imprisoned seven years ago was not released from prison. He will face a series of life dilemmas: Zhou Ying, the wife of the hotel, who wants to be recognized in the family and wants to be respected in society. Can't live in harmony with Ye Fei's illegitimate female Ye Tian Dance. Her autistic son Ye Tianyang has already caused her headache. Her husband, who has just been released from prison, needs her to comfort her. She is a high school illegitimate daughter, Ye Tianwu, who has the same age. The girl's innocence and curiosity, young and vigorous, with the obsession of maintaining the perfect image of her father's heart, the extreme pride of self-esteem is the extreme inferiority, the nature is good but extremely disguised; and Zhou Ying's birth Ye Tianyang, a 7-year-old with autistic autism, except Zhou Ying, no one can communicate with him, but has a very high talent in music; sharing a male student, experiencing a series of blows such as the death of his girlfriend, the dissolution of the band and the unsatisfactory music path. Qin Liwei, the original singer who is at the lowest point of his life, but he has discovered Ye Tianyang's musical talents and saw the self-improvement of life and decided to excite himself. Ye Fei gradually found confidence in life in dealing with this series of events, and everyone will start again.

A Way Out is about two young men, living on different sides of the track who switch lives with each other. David Bennett and his family's progress of achieving the American dream are put on hold when his father got injured on the job. David takes on the responsibility of advancing the family's dreams but the burden may be too difficult for him to bear. Nathan McKinley is an irresponsible and overconfident rich kid. His father is a successful business man who provides everything for his family except the one thing that Nathan craves the most - his attention so he seeks it elsewhere. Nathan usually gets whatever he wants. That is until he meets Johnny, David's uncle and the local healer, who decides to teach him a lesson.

2-channel video of one-minute portraits, shot in 3 countries, between July 1 - September 1, 2010, featuring friends, family, encounters, artists and fellow filmmakers, examining how we change in relation to who we are with (mom, friends, or with a lover), where we are (at work, at a party or on vacation) and how we want to be perceived (by each other and by the camera). For each portrait, I shot approximately one minute of the subject, then passed the camera and they shot me, while I responded to their portrait.
