Despite the direct competition, and Reece's deliberate attempts at sabotage, Dick's Clinic thrives. Dirt cheap mental health proves to be an unexpected hit to the bottom feeders of suburbia. Dick soon finds himself dealing with a clientèle whose problems not only test his skill as a therapist, but also his patience. And amid the disfunction of Dick's chosen course, he begins to find a sense of compassion and an ability to love again.
