Marina is a manager in an agro-industrial company, she is accustomed to the city rhythm, heels and manicures. But one day she is sent to supervise the installation of a new milking machine in a remote area of the Tambov outback. The new position turns the heroine's usual world upside down: from now on she lives in a guest house with a bathhouse, and she is surrounded by simple fellow villagers and real cows. And now her main problem is to convince local residents that they generally need "innovations" in the field of milking. And first, Marina will have to win over the jack of all trades Valera, who enjoys authority among ordinary hard workers.
