Scar, as a result of misfortune or accidents, is a trace of recovery. The process of the new connective tissue replacing the injured at the same time become a metaphor of pains and frustrations of life: sick at heart, and a combination of sufferings...... In all, scar came as a reference of existence and being alive, an evidence of pain, and a witness of a time. Ever since 1949, in this vast country as China, all these diverse scars and traces of recoveries, patterns and all shapes of sorrow are embedded with memories of the individual, pains of the group and marks of the history, and finally converged into the sights, with great documentary significance. This film is the first part of the Scar Plan -- a collection of 110 Chinese scars.

Col. Joe Alon, the Israeli Air Force Attache was assassinated in 1973 in MARYLAND . An FBI investigation revealed nothing. 38 years later, the case remains unsolved and Joe's three daughters are searching for the truth. Did he know something he shouldn't have? The film opens with this theory and then goes on to raise personal, forensic, political and national questions and dilemmas: Why didn't Israel cooperate with the FBI?
