The Joke Thief takes us on a journey of one man's last hurrah. Simon McCabe is a stand up comedian who has been making people laugh for 35 years. All his life he has been the life of the party, but now he is tired, miserable and almost washed up since he's never got a lucky break due to a reputation of joke stealing. One fateful night, his longtime friend and fellow comedian convinces a comedy club owner to give Simon some stage time and one last shot at redemption. On the ride down to his gig, Simon takes us on a whirlwind journey of his life, as he replays back special moments in an emotional series of flash backs that made him the sad, funny man that he is today.

One of the Russian villages. Police officer Athanasius becomes a suspect in a serious crime. The locals are ready for a lynching. Investigator Sirditov faces a difficult task: on the one hand, he understands that such a crime should not go unpunished, on the other hand, it is necessary to find out all the details of the incident.

Steve Kelly, a retired rodeo champion, accepts a rematch with notorious bucking bull, 'Black Friday', the same bull that ended his career several years ago. Steve also must deal with the return of estranged wife Dannii.

This movie reflects on the situation around the border between Poland and Germany. The fate of many single characters creates a picture of life in this region: Some Ukrainians want to cross the border illegal to get into Germany, a company wants to build a new factory, a Polish taxi driver desperately needs money to buy his daughter a First Communion dress, and so on.

With subtle, vulnerable performances, Nana's Boys focuses on the intimate life of a couple who are confronted with the fact that their relationship is not as solid as they thought.
