A team of investigative journalists tries to solve a twenty-year-old cold case involving a famous actor who went missing.

Military medic Curtis gets injured, returns home with dog Friendly who saved him. Curtis and Friendly adjust to civilian life. Curtis falls in love with nurse Sophia, who has a child.

Faced with injustice and unnatural behavior, Guri's transformation from a law-abiding kid to a relentless avenger forms the crux of the narrative.
