Summary ST: Diplomacy Fan Series is a project inspired by the world of Star Trek. The story takes place in the early 70s of the 24th century, when the United Federation of Planets, which in this future the Earth is a part of, is at war with the powerful Dominion. This is when our diplomatic ship U.S.S. Masaryk leaves the port to reach the necessary agreements and compromises necessary for surviving this difficult time by all means. The concept is meant as a conversational political satire, a tribute to British sitcoms such as "Yes, Minister". The length of the episodes is consistent with the duration of these works, that is under 20 minutes. The whole idea originated in the summer of 2013. Based on previous experience with demanding post-production, it was decided to shoot the entire series in a real environment. At the end of 2014, we were able to find and rent suitable premises and we spent the whole year 2015 constructing the set (bridge of the starship, captain's ready room...). At the same time, we started other preparations for the actual filming - sewing the uniforms and other costumes, making prosthetic and rehearsing the dialogues.
