Kaltham's innocence appears after she was imprisoned for 25 years unjustly behind bars, and she tries to communicate with her daughters, but they refuse to do so, so Kaltham seeks to reunite her family again.
Schoolboy Keisuke has the gift of the gab and can make people laugh. His amusing ability makes him recruit a school-mate and entertain others at their school. This leads to others joining and becoming an informal and impromptu comedy troupe. The students and friends love it and the boys are encouraged to forge right ahead and make others laugh. They bring joy to their little world.
Sevana Heil (Maia Kavchak) is a well-known online "love guru" who uses her psychology degree to give others advice on love, but she has never been in a relationship of her own. Reality hits when she meets Keven West (Kwame Feaster) and begins to find out first hand what being in love is really like and her crazy friends and even crazier neighbor don't make the experience any easier.
Recovering from heartbreak, a group of friends take on new experiences.
The story is told through the eyes of the youngest daughter, Fuyuko (16). The family runs a bakery. The mother, Teruko, is a very energetic woman who is determined to make her dreams come true. Responding to Teruko's expectations, the eldest daughter becomes a figure skater and the second daughter becomes a very famous professional singer. In contrast, Fuyuko finds her joy in bread making.
