Sound and Time

I decided to explore my transition from childhood to manhood. Entering the adult world through the eyes of our pet dog. The philosophy of youth seems cliche but its truth is in self discovery and finding a path of acceptance to follow through life. Looking at life and death is not always comfortable but is something we all have to deal with. This short film started with the idea that animals can't just be blobs, there are a few great thinkers in the human race, there surly is a few deep thinkers in the animal kingdom. It's all about a different perspective.

The Alzheimer is the century's disease. This film is dedicated to everyone that remember the ones that forget.

Lobsang is a young Tibetan immigrant living in New York City, struggling to navigate the barriers of language and hardships of discrimination. He comes to understand that language is not his problem, so much as living in a xenophobic society. Will Lobsang be able to break through his turmoil or will he fall deeper into isolation?

After he's fired from his job just days after the turning of the New Year, while frantically looking for work with no success, a tap-dance of silence ensues between Brian (Dan Parilis) and his wife, Sharon (Christa Kimlicko-Jones). Days become weeks, and the invisible eggshells under their feet begin to crack, the pretense of carefree suburban bliss disintegrating all around them. With his marriage crumbling, desperation leads Brian down a slippery slope, starting with petty thievery, and veering towards something much darker and more foreboding... Themes & Intermissions is a whisper, not a shout; the slow horror of free-fall in a world in which stability can be lost in a single moment, and simply holding on can be a quiet kind of heroism.

After long years of waiting, to the house of a forester, comes joy - his wife is expecting a baby. But the happy expectation is violated by the visit of a fortune teller, referring to the stars, puts him in front of a moral choice: - tribal unity or successful life of his son, for which he must kill a deer and feed his wife with its meat. After a long and painful struggle with himself and unable to resist to the temptation of his desires, the forester kills a deer, thus making his moral choice, which destroys not only his dreams, but also the world in which he lives, and so passionately loves.
