Slay!

This film is set in Shanghai during the 90s. Mei is an ordinary fourth grade student from Puxiong primary school. One day Mei accidentally injures a classmate with a wooden stick. As the parents are called in by the school, Mei prepares to take full responsibility of what he's done. He soon realizes that taking blame in the adult world is not so black and white.

Joe Gill, a researcher in a cryonics laboratory, races against time as he tries to find a way to reanimate the dead girl he stole and has hidden in his basement freezer.

Matsumoto Tetsuya (Singer-songwriter ) wrote an autobiography. The film covers the marriage of Tetsuya's mother, his mother's drug habit, his stay at an orphanage and his reconciliation with his mother after becoming an adult.
