Roger (early 40s) finds his wife (Ethel) on a blind date at a local Italian restaurant--unfortunately for him, it is a personal ad she has placed. Having caught each other 'cheating', both are left pondering the difference between a physical and emotional intimacy.

Two sisters struggle with the loss of both parents. Their father is MIA in Iraq and their mother was victim to a random act of violence. After witnessing her mother's death, Rebecca ends up in a mental institution. One year later due to funding issues, the county wants to send Rebecca home to her sister, Mandi, creating one more problem for this newlywed expectant mother to overcome. At the same time the two men that killed their mom are plotting to kill the one witness against them, Rebecca.

Daia, Monica and Le, inseparable friends. Study, work, laugh and cry, love and kissing, being a daughter and being a mother, and mixed it all together at the same time. Seriously, is not easy! Filmed in the village of Trancoso, in Bahia, reconstitutes the local universe, with the cast, scenery and stories of the region.

The movie tries to explore the reasons for a person to fall in drug addiction with an attempt to provide a solution to come out of it.
