Upon the sudden death of his mother, a struggling young writer reluctantly returns home to care for his estranged, Alzheimer's-stricken father, an experience that transforms his life.

At the home of Iranian Anouar (10) the curtains are closed day and night and mother lies in bed all day. To get the light back in the house and to give his little sister comfort, he decides to catch the moon for her.

This is a film about a mother who takes the abuse given by her husband, until it's aimed at her only child.

Religion came into being to build a harmonious society. Ancient Hindu religion, the oldest of all is not initiated by one person but implored a way of life exploring betterment of the community. The scriptures, mantr(the chants) & rituals have a strong scientific base, meaning & understanding of which is losing its luster over the years. Today's youth going global is confused about this basic faith, God is not an entity but the positive energy with'in' & demon is the negative energy with'out'. Hindu religion is based on 5 basic natural energies, Sun, wind, rain, earth & space of which every living being is made of. Chaos & confusion in the minds of Today's youth devoid him of the concrete strength of life, This film creates a story interwoven with such simple day to day life characters which try to simplify the complexities of religion. Religion if understood in right perspective develops the individual, mass & societal mind simultaneously, but that's what is lost as it is being superficially politicized-used for selfish gains. No religion can ever preach destruction of mankind... it's the no or low understanding of the executors & followers who see the Religion with incorrect perspective. Religion initiates such strength in every single human outreaching the entire society building plane harmony. From with'in' to with'out' is its journey. So let today's youth understand clearly the simplicity of it & how it binds each one of us to have that collective strength.
