After the Kurkshetra, peace and goodwill reign in the region. But this does not last very long as very soon a devastating war will brew between Kuntiputra Arjun and Vishnu-Avtaar, Bhagwan Shri Kishan - when the former will challenge the later's decision to behead Chitrasen - who had inadvertently humiliated a Rishi - with the ultimate weapon, the Sudharshan Chakra.

During World War I, beautiful and patriotic Leslie Selden is courted by two ardent admirers: Jack Wynn, a young man not yet taken by the draft, and Dr. Wolff, a Danish scientist who is actually a German agent. When Jack learns that Wolff is masterminding a plot to bomb several munitions factories and destroy the water system in New York City, he goes to the spy's home and confronts him. Wolff locks him up, then forges a note to Leslie claiming that the young man has run away to escape the draft. Her suspicions aroused, Leslie alerts the authorities and plants a dictograph in Wolff's house, through which she learns of the scheduled bombings. Accompanied by the police, she arrives at Wolff's residence just in time to prevent Jack's murder and the destruction of the city.

During the Civil War, young widow Rachel Hayne is among those "held by the enemy" when her old family home is within the lines occupied by the Northern troops. Protected by Colonel Prescott from looters and the unwelcome attentions of Surgeon Fielding, Rachel begins to fall in love with the gallant Yankee officer. Their romance is disrupted when Rachel's husband Gordon, long reported dead, is captured as a spy and condemned to death. When Gordon is wounded during an attempted escape, Rachel's loyalty impels her to try to save him by feigning his death. As Gordon's stretcher is carried through the hospital, Fielding demands an examination of the body, charging that Prescott is involved in a plot to smuggle the spy out of the hospital alive. General Stanton lifts the cover from the body, only to find that death has really come, freeing both Rachel and Prescott.

An anti-war video using the mix of music, spoken word and effects found on Tribe's earlier works. 'The Rest of the World' sees her characters and ideas fully developed and presented. The video opens with a quote from Barbara Bush backed by the response tapes from FDNY on 9/11. ThenvTribe moves into a performance of 'Quiet My Soul', a depiction of the God of War decrying the misuse of his role in life, that displays her formidable stage presence. On the last word from War, a simple 'please', the video rises into the harsh, trance backed performance of the title piece 'the Rest of the World'. In which she challenges the viewers to participate in their lives to change the story that will be told.
