Hannah, a young English woman, decides to enter a Vlogger competition in which she describes a European city in a video. Hannah intends to represent Italy, her grandfather's birthplace. She is thus looking for a video-maker who can assist her in creating her video; after a few days, she hires Connor, and the two of them travel to Italy. Hannah and Connor settle into an apartment they found on the internet. After a few days of shooting, strange supernatural events prevent the two from continuing, and the project's original concept is abandoned. Hannah, unable to compete any longer, decides to use the footage she shot to create a feature film that shows everyone what happened to her during that terrible week.

The film focuses on a group of slum dwellers who are ignored in the ambitious blueprints of city developers. Slum dweller Chakrapani (Sreenivasan), a disabled beggar, is a small-time moneylender. A drunkard, he spends most of the time quarreling with his mother. He has an eye on Latha (Geethu Mohandas) who lives nearby with her two children though she detests him. Latha, an asthmatic, works as a maid and dreams of a better future for her children. Another woman Vasanthi (Seema G. Nair) also lives in the slum with her two children and a drunkard husband (Manikandan) who keeps on causing endless trouble to her and her children. Meanwhile, the government takes steps to get rid of the slum in order to go on with developmental activities and the slum-dwellers find that they have nowhere to go. Finally, desperation forces Chakrapani and Latha to unite and raise their voice in protest again the ignorance towards their slum.

A Young Detective with a unique ability from Scotland Yard is drafted to help lead an investigation into a series of grisly murders that have taken place in Glasgow not long after the first world war.
