Seven Journeys

Bess Hulette is disappointed and feels ignored when her husband Aleck accepts a partnership in an ad agency owned by Stephen Graves. She tells her neighbor, Mrs. Leonard, about her predicament. One day a young woman, Dorothy Delamore, is injured in a car accident just outside the Hulettes' home. Bess meets Dorothy's brother, Jack, who is attracted to her. Noticing his attraction, Mrs. Leonard--who is cheating on her own husband--urges Bess to take up with Jack. Still feeling ignored by her husband, Bess accepts an invitation to a party at Jack's house, but finds out that things aren't exactly what they seem.

Mrs. Stanton, the wife of a prominent broker, confesses to her daughter Winifred that she is a kleptomaniac. One of her escapades results in her arrest, and although she is released through the influence of wealthy friends, the scandal is printed in the newspapers and her husband's business is ruined. Hoping to start a new life, the family moves to a small New England town, and an attachment soon develops between Winifred and George Chartris, a young judge. When Mrs. Chartris discovers that her jeweled pin is missing after a visit to the Stanton home, Winifred is unjustly arrested but accepts the blame in order to save her mother further embarrassment. George, who is presiding over the trial, refuses to believe that Winifred is guilty and after some digging, discovers that the real thief is Mrs. Stanton's landlady. Through her daughter's sacrifice, Mrs. Stanton is cured of her vice and reconciled to her husband. George and Winifred become engaged.

A wealthy family loses all of its money, but a foreign count who has married into the family helps them out.

Set on the eve of a fictional inaugural of the Bangsamoro Government, the film revolves around Daud, a scion of a political dynasty who is reluctant to become a member of the Parliament, and his college buddy Marco, a struggling journalist assigned to cover the inaugural. The duo drive off to the countryside, reminiscing their days as student activists and discovering their deepest longings as hostages of a future they will inherit.
