The Daruma Dolls
Rip & co. fly to Japan to investigate reports of a live Oni, the Japanese Demon. They discover that the Oni report is a cover-up for something even more fantastic: the discovery of the magical Daruma Dolls. Legend claims the "missing" dolls have been protected for over 400 hundred years by a Samurai. A wealthy collector, with his own private army, will stop at nothing to get them. The action and "ownership" of the Dolls goes back and forth until the final showdown amid the famous Log Ride of Hikkado. The Dolls are put in a museum, and the guardian Samurai leaves us wondering if he is or isn't four hundred years old!

Curse of the Pharaoh's Tomb
Rip, Cyril and Sam travel to Cairo, Egypt to investigate the case of a woman put in a coma by the Curse of King Tut, after trying to buy contraband artifacts from the dead Pharaoh's tomb. When Cyril finds a piece of a Tutankhamen fan, he has a friend analyze it. Meanwhile, a mysterious phone call leads Rip and Sam to the Valley of the Kings, where they are trapped in a tomb! Framed by the man in charge of Cairo antiquities, Mohammed Mahdi, Rip and Sam escape by posing as mummies! When Cyril's friend is stricken with the same "curse", Cyril discovers that an ancient mold is causing the coma symptoms. Tracing Mahdi's cellphone signal, the BION team uncover a cache of stolen artifacts inside a pyramid. When Mahdi tries to escape in the desert, a sudden sandstorm stops his jeep, allowing Rip, Cyril and Sam to catch up on camels, arresting the thief. A check of the weather forecast reveals clear skies predicted. Was the sudden storm a freak of nature, or the Curse of the Pharaoh's tomb? Believe it or Not!

Sam's subway ride turns into an unexpected afternoon nap, and Rip is forced to jump on the runaway train and stop it, before it crashes. At a ransom drop on an airline at ten thousand feet, Rip discovers it's really sleeping gas that's knocking everyone out. The thief parachutes to apparent freedom, only to be captured by Sam and Cyril in the Jumpjet, and it is left to Rip to safely land the airliner. Sam's impromptu concert on the Dragon Flute appears to put Rip and Cyril asleep. Or are they just forty winks short? Believe It Or Not!

Final Approach

Ever since their parents died a few years ago, Ryo and his sister Akane have been living alone together. Despite their difficult situation, they are still living reasonably happy and normal lives. However, everything is about to be flipped upside-down due to a secret government project. Due to increasingly low birth rates in Japan, the Japanese government is testing a program in which two young people are forced to marry. Ryo wants no part of it, but he is given little choice in the matter; his new fiancée, Shizuka, comes to his home late one night with several dozen government issued bodyguards, who are there to ensure the success of the new couple. Unlike Ryo, Shizuka couldn't be more willing to go along with this new program, and eagerly goes about her wifely duties, despite his objections. With meddling friends, pushy bodyguards, and an overenthusiastic new fiancée, Ryo's life has taken a turn in a direction the young man certainly didn't expect.
