Ripe Town

Sebastian is a successful doctor who lives with his teenage son Arthur. Sebastian prides himself on his open and casual relationship with his son - at least that's the way he views it. But some people, including his Bulgarian cleaning lady Jana who is raising her daughter Vera with a firm and steady hand, think he is spoiling Arthur. One day the two teenagers secretly go to a party and do not return home until morning. Sebastian's easy going approach to the situation clashes with Jana's stubbornness. This is a personal drama about two people who have so much in common but still cannot find a common language.

Betty Wynne is forced to work as a maid in a boarding-house after her mother's death. There she falls in love with one of the residents, Bayard Varick. Another of the lodgers, old Henry Mapleson, so admires Betty's sunny disposition that, in order to promote her well-being, he forges a document suggesting that she is the long-lost granddaughter of millionaire John K. Beeston. The insensitive old businessman, whom nobody loves, softens under Betty's influence and soon comes to love her dearly. Bayard, however, believing that Beeston ruined his father in a business deal years earlier, refuses to visit Betty in the rich man's house. Imagining that Bayard no longer loves her, Betty agrees to Beeston's wish that she marry her cousin, but when Bayard learns of Mapleson's forgery, he hurries to Beeston's estate to claim his sweetheart. The old man is reluctant to give her up but finally relents when he discovers that Bayard is his long-lost grandson.

Kaan (35) comes after a long time out of prison. He wants to do things differently. But his perception of reality does not seem to run parallel with the perceived.

Newlyweds returning from their honeymoon in Mexico are stalked by a killer who believes they witnessed his crime. In an evil game of manipulation and cunning, the killer befriends them and sets out to erase their memories of the event.

Torsten wasn't looking for anything. He just bought the lottery ticket to keep the peace with his lotto-enthusiastic co-workers. Eventually, he's forced to think about what to do with such a big win, when his ticket hits the jackpot. And he soon realizes, that he is the only one not having an answer to that question. His wife Susanne already knows what to do with their new found wealth. His son Lutz also makes plans. The shock-wave of this "lottobomb" tears Torsten's orderly world apart and leaves him with the question of who he really is.
