Running Inside Out is a movie about a woman named Kim and her passion for running. Kim is forced to the edge by a sequence of life circumstances. This is a film about one woman's search in life.

Child soldiers kidnapped from tribes. The thread is they had drum circles everyone in their village was part of each week. They hear it in their dreams. Older soldiers kill the "useless" children in front of the others as examples. This child, given a number instead of a name, cooperates, manipulates, cultivates his own army quietly, as the children outnumber adults 10-1, but are too terrified to plan. #113 is cunning beyond his years. He capitulates, obeys, but secretly teaches others hand signals, how to aim and strike their targets, levels out their gun sights for accuracy and plans a date to kill the adults at night. They spy and discover the weapon storage and gain access by lifting a drunk soldiers keys. Guns will wake the soldiers, so those are last resort. They steal knives, machetes, axes when they can for quieter deaths, slowly , one by one. No one notices. They each find a piece of wood, broken wood buckets, log or sticks. Their sleeping quarters are surrounded by electrical barbed wire and far from the adults. At night they drum, each from their own village. They whisper plans as they drum. Assignments are given by 113. Some dig and hide the hole under the fence. Everyone contributes a meal a day from a can for later. They take turns hiding water they're given in animal hides, like ages ago. They take scraps of clothing to use for thread to sew the animal skins into water containers, coating this inside seems with a resin produced by a local plant that seals leaks and wounds. Their day is planned. They know the system and signs of when they'll be walking the mine fields to be used to detonate the mines. They drum that night. They howl and growl and are ready. If not, many will die. Their supplies of food, water, blades, guns and ammo cleverly split up and buried in 3 places near the back of their hut. The night comes. Everyone has their assignment. Some will kill in pairs of 2. Some are backup with guns, some must dig up and move the food and water to a location in the jungle they all know. They make torches with sticks, rages and oil for those that must get the food and supplies out, to light the way once out of site. They don't know there are 3 spies among the nearly 50 of them. 113 has planned for this tho. He knew it was likely. They're just children after all. How many could be so brave? He planted 2 very frightened acting children as counter spies to gather info. These children are not frightened, just good actors. 3 nights earlier than anyone but the spies knew, they act on their plan, first thing and gagging the spies. They're dragged it the jungle. The supplies are heavy, but must not be dragged or dropped. One of the burlap bags breaks, but a child sees it and quickly puts it down before anything falls. One of the boys is too tall and gangly to get through the tunnel. He's stuck. 113 uses a hollow tube like plant. He gives one dirty end to the boy for him to breathe, the other end is barely noticeable just a couple inches above ground. He gives the boy a hide of water and buries him with as little dirt needs to conceal the hole. The boys promise they'll return before morning when all is done. The buried boy tries to sleep, keeping the tube stem in his mouth. Morning comes and goes. The boy can see the sun straight above through a tiny slit around the air hole. All is quiet. What happened? Shooting erupts. Something has gone terribly wrong with the plan. Screaming, running, shooting, dying. He can do nothing but listen to the horror.

The story opens with the broker, who, as the head of the company, was promising quick returns on investments, suddenly disappears. Another "get-rich-quick" bubble had exploded. The case was ordinary, it was averred by the officials, for the man had imposed on a gullible public and made off with their money to live in ease in some distant country. But there was a different story. The man had been the victim of a scheming couple. He was the tool of two wizards of high finance who used him to cover their tracks and take the blame for their misdeeds. The escape of the broker had been accomplished in a clever manner. While his daughter detained the detectives by talking to them, he left the table of a dinner party given at his home and from that time no trace of him To help the needy ones who had suffered by the apparent mismanagement of her father, the girl turned over all her property to the creditors and withdrew to earn her livelihood by working in a dressmaking establishment. Among those who attended the creditor's meeting were the actual criminals and they selected as their next victim a young man who had lost a few thousand in the crash but who could easily afford to lose more. He was very sympathetic with the unfortunates seemed "easy." To enlist his immediate sympathy, the woman simulated an attempted suicide. After the young fellow had rescued her, she told him that her husband's meager earnings had been wiped out by the crash and that they had nothing left. The young man escorted her home and said he would help them to a new start in life. While the woman and the "sucker" were out in the latter's automobile chance intervened to upset the plans of the conspirators. The girl, who had retired after the flight of her father, was struck by the machine. Despite the fact that the woman made sure to inform the young fellow who the upstart was, he evinced a great interest in her. To destroy this interest, the scheming woman tried a novel plan. She had the employer of the girl send the young woman out motoring in expensive gowns, arranged for the young man to see her, and insinuate that the worst possible conclusion was the only way to explain the sudden acquisition of wealth. This trick proved useless for the lover investigated and found that she was merely acting as a model. Various attempts to injure the girl and put her out of the way were tried but all to no avail. Feeling convinced that she was being persecuted for an unknown motive, the young fellow decided to do a little investigation. As a last resort the swindlers had their bookkeeper, who had only been a short time in their employ but had earned their confidence, write a letter to the girl purporting to come from her father asking her to meet him. The girl kept her appointment and found the man and woman waiting for her instead. They threatened her with bodily harm unless she withdrew and they reminded her of how they had disposed of her father. Then they became boisterous, feeling sure of their victim and recalled the details of the plot that had eliminated the father. Their talk suddenly ceased when they saw their bookkeeper followed by the young man and a policeman enter the room. While the crooks raged at the bookkeeper who had betrayed them, the old man smiled, removed his wig and glasses and introduced himself as the fugitive broker. He had determined to disclose the real criminals and, with the aid of the police, had installed a dictagraph, listened to what was said and arranged for their arrest. In the face of this testimony the swindlers were speechless and were silently escorted to prison to await trial.
