Summary Jose who is popularly known as Puli Jose is a famous Pulikali (Tiger Dance) artist in Thrissur, Kerala. When a terrible tragedy hits him, Jose takes to drinking and abandons the love of his life, Pulikali, forever. Manoharan who had left his hometown twelve years ago following a heart break returns. He is a huge fan of Jose's Pulikali. Manoharan puts pressure on Jose to perform as part of the Onam celebrations of the Arts and Sports club of the village. But Jose refuses. Finally after a lot of mental struggle and also overriding his wife Mery's resistance Jose decides to once again perform Pulikali.
