Simon is back from the States after 2 years of doing nothing to attend the funeral of his father, a private investigator. His long-time-not-seen son awaits him there, left behind by his mom, who went to the States just now. He finds a mysterious message on his father's phone recorder, which makes him travel to the countryside with his son to get into the game of the rich, where human life is treated easily.

Life starts to get busy for Simon, Rozner wants him to find out who is behind the bomb threats happen way too often in Marci's school, but he'd rather track down the untouchable gangster who terrorizes the girls working in massage parlors in the neighborhood. To top it all off, someone steals his beloved car, a black London taxi, so Bandi's help is more than welcomed. Regardless, Simon would't be himself if he didn't also have time for love.

Simon doesn't have much to do lately, so he can take Marci to school more often, where he can meet his classmates' lonely moms. In this case, with the new relationship comes a new case, insurance fraud, which sometimes leads to rough destruction. When his favorite liquor store is burned to the ground and its owner dies, he immediately begins an investigation and reveals the connection of some police officers to the case.

A mysterious voice calls Simon from the States and asks him to observe his father, who has traveled to Hungary for business and marry a way younger girl than himself. The boy is worried and pays immediately, which makes Simon work. But since dead bodies are left behind wherever he goes, the police take him into house arrest. But even that can't stop him from finding out the truth.

Although the blackmailer has been paid, Weiner is found dead. The threads lead to an insurance company headed by a former counterintelligence officer who stole incriminating documents when he left the State Security Office.

The last living member of the Legendary Twelwe moves home from America to occupy an important state position. The other eleven members of the group, including Simon's father, have mysteriously died in the past few years. The State Security entrusts Simon with obtaining information about him, while he seeks to investigate this strange case. As he digs deep into it, he discovers his father didn't pass away by natural causes.
