Terry is a suicidal voyeur who treats a dying addict to a final binge, but Terry will only do this if he promises to kill him.

Students of the university of Salamanca are brutally murdered by a black masked minstrel. Alex, an architecture student who has recently moved to Salamanca discovers a pattern behind the killings; it seems as if the killer strikes regularly after the exams to free the campus from lousy students.

A washed up Vegas lounge singer, Jack Satin (Hamilton von Watts), has no money, no job, and delusional aspirations of fame. When Jack is forced to leave Vegas, he packs up his old Cadillac and hits the road for Atlantic City. But his car dies in the desert and Jack is left stranded in the small town of Lost Springs. There, Jack meets jazz legend turned mechanic, Doc Bishop (Robert Guillaume), who helps him with his car trouble. Although Jack is far from the stage, he begins to find himself feeling at home in the small town. When he meets dreamy eyed bartender, Lauren Wells (Melissa Joan Hart), Jack starts to see there is more to life than chasing fame and fortune. Doc encourages Jack to explore his true love of music, while Lauren provides the audience he has always wanted. But as Jack realizes this town has more to offer him than the bright lights of the big city, his Vegas past catches up with him -- what unfolds is comedy at the crossroads of life.

Amy and David are two underachievers from suburbia. Amy has had a rough life raised by her neglectful drug addicted single mother. David has been raised in a more conventional family, but his lack of motivation has driven his father crazy. When Amy meets David it seems they both find what they are looking for. But when Amy gets pregnant, both Amy and David go through a personal and surreal crisis in making choices. Which leads them to decide if they should do it the right way or the wrong way?

A successful artist and local art museum coordinator ("Cecilia") hears voices telling her to release 'troubled" individuals from this earth and into the serenity of the afterlife. Cecilia, now leading the life of a full-time serial killer, preys on the depressed, distraught, and hopeless as she attempts to find meaning behind the voices she hears. However, Cecilia meets a young man ("Lucas") who just may fill the void in her heart she has been missing her entire life.....the problem being Lucas is a suicidal, depressed man. Cecilia struggles between what her heart is telling her and what her voices are telling her about him. A story of love, life, and death.

Estranged siblings, Bess and Jude, are reunited in Hell.
