Pieces of Eight

A team of scientists are accompanying the crew of a nuclear submarine in the arctic. When a disaster at sea sinks the nuclear sub, these scientists (and their mini submersible) become the crew's only hope for survival.

In and out of jail her whole life, Crazy Amy Stronghold seems to be stuck in a rut as a homeless street hustler, until her estranged daughter wants to reunite but not until she gets a real job and a house in suburbia. But when her daughter arrives unexpectedly, at her white-washed house, full of all her strongholds, Amy must learn how to be set free from within before her daughter is lost to her forever.

In the 1930s, Charles Lang invents an engine that runs using water for fuel. But when he tries to get it patented, he is first offered a ridiculously low amount. When he refuses, he is suddenly pressured to sell. The big oil companies don't want the competition. Now he has to try and keep them from getting his idea, and somehow get it published.

A wealthy mill owner, Durgadas Prasad, hires a secretary to handle his office work. She falls in love with Billoo, who incidentally happens to be Durgadas' estranged grandson.

A romantic tragedy about two turn-of-the-century couples - one American, one British - who regularly vacation together at a spa in Germany.
