The Tanita Corporation has developed the world's first body fat measuring device. The company itself also has many overweight employees. Because of this, the company finds it difficult to persuade perspective customers to buy their product. Company President Unosuke Tanida (Masao Kusakari) then orders all of his employees to go on diet. Vice President Konosuke (Kenta Hamano) hires nutritionist Nanako (Yuka) to oversee the project. Employees are to eat twice at a company restaurant, but problems arise in sequential order. With Nanako's magic recipe, employees at the company begins to see results.

Everyone is discussing the threat of two-tier medicine - Kathi Pfeiffer, on the other hand, interprets the term in her own unique way: the head of the therapeutic department of a Munich private clinic also treats needy people who actually cannot afford it - and provides everything to her wealthy patients charged. And it doesn't take long before the two of them get closer to each other in their private search for clues. But then Kathi gets into a situation in which she has to ask herself whether she can really trust her supposed boyfriend from the world of high finance - or whether he is not in cahoots with her worst enemy.

Dick Underwood's desire to marry Dorothy Travers receives strong opposition from her father, and the couple decides to elope. Their escape is thwarted by an accident, however, and John Travers takes his daughter home, where she is courted by crooked stock promoter Jack Allen. Dick and Dorothy's second attempt to elope is foiled by Allen, and Dick lands in jail. He escapes, and a fight with Allen leaves Dick as sole contender for Dorothy.
