As Timoshenko approaches the vehicle, one of the passenger's opens fire, hitting him twice in the face. Yan, who is shot in the arm and chest, returns fire as he radios in his location. When Officer Timoshenko dies in hospital a few days later, thousands of NYPD officers pull out all the stops to hunt the men that killed one of their own.
