The story of a young woman who lives in Iran during the heavy sanctions which were put on the country. For improving the situation of her life she marries a powerful wealthy man but she gains nothing but more troubles after that.

School-teacher Indu lives a middle-class lifestyle along with her widower and unemployed dad, Moolchand Chabbe. They rent the upper floor of the building and her dad makes it his duty to prevent anyone from occupying the lower floor so as not to tamper with the flow of the municipal water pipe-line. Ravi Shankar Chaube, a Poet and an Engineer by profession succeeds in renting the lower floor, impresses Indu so much so that she falls in love with him, and with Moolchand's conditional blessing that he live with them as a Ghar Jamai, both get married. Indu quits her job, and after sometime they become parents of a boy and name him Ashoo. Four years later differences surface as Moolchand spends a lot of Ravi's hard-earned money gambling. Things escalate to such an extent that Ravi puts everyone on a strict budget forcing Indu to get her job back. An enraged Ravi then asks Indu to make a choice - either quit the job or else face divorce proceedings.

Parkland is surrounded by high walls so they would be separated from the low-class citizens. There are no jobs, so there is no way that low-class citizens would ever achieve a better life. The high-class citizens want what they call "eternity" life. They build TV billboards to advertise "Eternity" life, in which poor citizens donate organs which the rich citizens need to survive and live longer. In exchange, the remaining family of the donor will receive $10 million and residence in Parkland. One man, Sgt. Jimmy Quinn and his family are allowed to live in Parkland because of his achievements and is to be promoted detective at Parkland...without being a donor. When the donor for the creator of Eternity, Dr. Roland Parker, is killed, they are in a desperate search of another donor. After waking up one morning with a hangover, a donation contract, and fired from the police department, he believes these donations are not so voluntary; he sets out to find proof before his time is up.
