O Happy Day

Residing deep within every woman's heart is a desire. Qian Jia Yi (Yan Yee Moo), a rich man's daughter, returns from overseas studies and organises a trip with her old classmates, Qi Ming Xing (Akit Tay), Bai Xue Na (Tracy Lee), Chen Jing Li (Paige Chua) and Liang Lu Lu (Yahui Xu). Jia Yi wishes that her fiancé, Jia Hong (Desmond Tan), will love her forever as she is preparing to marry him. Ming Xing wishes for good health as her mother is in a vegetative state. Xue Na wishes for a happy family with her husband Yong Cheng (Adam Chen). Jing Li wishes for true love, having just broken up. Lu Lu lives a life of leisure and wishes for fame and fortune. The five women chance upon a famous artist who paints a masterpiece of them, "Beauties in Bath". What meaning does the painting have for the five women? Can their friendship stay strong and robust in the midst of their conflicting innermost desires?

"Blue Laces" is a daytime drama series showcasing the strength of two women learning how to heal themselves after experiencing a series of unexpected events living in the unforgiving streets of Los Angeles. We see the drama that unfolds in the hospital workplace and within the lives of these two women and everyone around them. The audience will see how blue laces tie the story line together, and won't see what's coming next.

Retired civil engineer Richard has left his native northern Germany for Canada and now runs a lodge with his granddaughter Karen in his idyllic home in Vancouver Bay. With his fierce nature, however, he is not exactly the perfect host for his holiday guests and the spirited Karen causes more stress than he would like. Thanks to a lawyer friend and a policeman, he is always able to get her out of various problems. In Vancouver he meets the German star chef Iris and the Canadian pilot Adrian , who completely reorganize their lives when they meet Richard.
