I grew up in England but because I was born in America, I had the privilege of participating in the U.S. presidential election process of 2012. Most countries do not understand the complicated U.S. electoral process. This 'Me-o-mentary' highlights my journey through the process of voting for the first time. I am an Honors undergraduate at university. This documentary takes place over a two-year period. This film shows media brainwashing, commentary on debates, my 'uniquely English' perspective on the electoral process, how international affairs affect the US election, and all the nuances that lead me to make my decision in the voting booth.

The three keywords explaining the situation of countryside in Japan is, 'public work', 'merger' and 'local builders.' Local governments being got rid of manufacturing factories are eager to get subsidies from the central government for public work, which eventually result in financial breakdown and then, merger. It's about the election occurred in a small town in Japan. Ninagawa Sumimura, a movie producer, is confronting a conspiracy of a local builders teamed with a young candidate. And co-weaved with the problems with a campaign systems, he endures a hard time as an individual candidate. And you'll see the unbelievable ball-out result in the end.

Fifty years ago, Jean Rouch and Edgar Morin made Chronique d'un ete. Through a series of vignettes, the film followed the filmmakers as they enquired into the happiness, sadness and everyday lives of Parisians during the summer of 1960, combining the techniques of drama, fiction, provocation and reflexive critique. It is hailed as an experimental landmark in both ethnographic film and cinema in general. But, what has changed fifty years on? What can we learn about life in the UK - are people happy? And, does Rouch and Morin's format still have relevance today? What can we learn from revisiting their influential film? Chronicle of a Winter is the culmination of a three-month long project, re-imagining and re-creating selected scenes from Chronique d'un ete - and answering these pressing questions.
