Sweden is being transformed from a poor country into a public home, and sexual issues play a very special role. The sex whistleblowers of the 10s and 20s are hunted by the police. In the 1950s, Sweden became the first in the world to introduce compulsory sex education and the rumor of the "Swedish sin" spread like wildfire across the world. In the early 1960s, sexual liberation becomes a powerful driving force when the old authority society collapses.

Censorship is defeated, the birth control pill and free abortion separate sexuality from childbearing. Fumbling men and combative women seek new roles and the gays come out of the closet. Towards the end of the century, we live with a mixture of open sexual diversity, HIV scare, global sex market and a certain sexual confusion.
