Summary The lead character Arun, who is born in a middle class family gets engaged to his beloved and on his friends suggestion decides to travel to the city searching for his livelihood. On his journey he meets with an accident, looses his memory and forgets his parents, beloved, friends and all his past. He becomes a lunatic. At the same time there is another character Ningaraj who resembles Arun, and is in love with Kushi. Ningaraj is killed by Kushi's family.
