Summary Tatya (Bua) is worshiped as god by his villagers as his prediction never goes wrong on daily basis villagers gather in their house to take his blessings and advice.Tatya's elder son Datta is married to Shanti whose cursed by villagers for being childless,his younger son Vaman is a drunkard and only frequents the village,Devki his eldest daughter has left her husband's house and lives with him whose spoils the peace of the house.Tatya advises Shanti and Datta to go on pilgrimage and with the blessings Shanti turns pregnant but Tatya's health deteriorates due to cancer a she is considered god villagers believe that he can be treat himself.Tatya passes away around the same time when Shanti gives birth to a baby boy,While performing the final rituals the Pujari tells that Tatya could be reborn due to his good deeds.Shanti returns home with her son Guru and villagers believe he is rebirth of Tatya few years later some good things happen in village and everyone believes its done by Guru and consider him god and give place of Tatya creating difference between Datta and Shanti.
