Cunningham returned to his first love, novels, on Der Spiegel's best-seller list in Germany for 'Die Tauferin", (using Jeremiah Pearson, his first two names) published by Bastei Lubbe, (also published as 'Brethren" in English), the first novel of a trilogy set during the Reformation, the second being published this fall, 2016, the third book scheduled for 2017.
