Solveig Dommartin was born on 16 May 1961 in Constantine, Algeria. She was an actress and director, known for Der Himmel über Berlin (1987), Bis ans Ende der Welt (1991) and Il suffirait d'un pont (1998). She died on 11 January 2007 in Paris, France.
