Goda Mamora is a Japanese manga artist born in Ise, Mie, Japan. He studied graphic design at the Osaka General Design Technical School and began working as a freelance illustrator after graduation. In 1993, he debuted with two works, "Tora no Ko ga Yuku!" (虎の子がゆく!) and "Hana no Saku Niwa" (花の咲く庭), published in two magazines simultaneously.
In 2013, Goda was arrested on June 5 for charges of forcible indecency and assault against a female assistant. The charges included inappropriate physical acts and violence. On August 27, the Tokyo District Court's Tachikawa Branch sentenced him to three years in prison, suspended for three years. Although he initially apologized to the victim and expressed an intention to continue his career under a different pen name, he resumed work under his original name in the August 26 issue of "Shukan Josei".
