After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, majoring in film, she gained experience as an assistant director under many directors. In 2017, she directed the short film "Tokyo Capsule" under the Young Filmmaker Development Project (ndjc). In 2018, her feature film project "Birth Cry" won the President's Special Award at the MPA / DHU / TIFFCOM Pitching Contest and was invited to the Asia Pacific Screen Awards the following year. In 2020, her short film “One Night, Two Threads” was nominated for domestic and international film festivals. In 2021, the short film “Umi ni Soragoto” was released in theaters nationwide in the omnibus movie “DIVOC-12” by Sony Pictures.
