Oh Young Wook is a South Korean architect and author. He graduated from Yonsei University with a bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering and later obtained a master's degree in Interior Design from Elisava, School of Design & Engineering in Barcelona, Spain.
He obtained an architectural engineer's license in 1999 as a senior in college, and completed his alternative service at Daerim Industrial (now DL) through the industrial technician system, where he worked until his late 20s. He later quit his job and went backpacking through Europe and South America. He began writing his travel experiences under the pen name Ogisa and published his first book, "Ogi-sa, Leaving for Barcelona in Search of Happiness."
After returning to South Korea in 2007, he founded Ogisa Design and Oddaa Architectural Firm and worked as an architect. He was selected as a public architect for Seoul in 2012 and worked in several public buildings for a few years. He then decided to quit his career and became a full time vlogger and writer.
