Fujiwara Eri is a Japanese actress.
At the age of 10, she aspired to become a flight attendant after watching "Top Stewardess Story" on TV. She later enrolled in the International Cultural Studies Department at Iwate Prefectural University Morioka Junior College. Unable to secure a job with an airline after graduating, she worked at a hotel as a waitress.
Afterward, she worked in medical administration before joining Qatar Airways as a flight attendant. She relocated to Doha, the capital of Qatar, and worked as an international flight attendant for about four years.
At the age of 27, she took a leave of absence to study English and used a working holiday visa to move to London, UK.
Two years later, she resigned from Qatar Airways without returning to work and moved to Tokyo.
Utilizing her Arabic skills acquired during her time in Qatar, she became the secretary to the Iraqi president of a consulting company.
During her time as the president's secretary, she was invited by a friend to experience being an extra in a film, which became a turning point leading to her transition into acting.
While primarily appearing in movies, she is also active in a wide range of activities including appearing in musicals and writing columns.
