Hashimoto Izo is a Japanese screenwriter and film director from Shimane prefecture. He graduated from Shimane Prefectural Tsuwano High School.
After working as an independent producer, he made his directorial debut in 1982 with the independent film "PC Wars ISAMI". After that, he made his major debut in charge of the script for the TV drama "Sukeban Deka" series. Since then, he has produced numerous works such as "Kimi no Hitomi o Taiho Suru!".
