Fei Zhen Xiang

Description:

Fei Zhen Xiang is an actor and director borin in a Peking Opera family in Beijing, China. He was influenced by his family since childhood and learned from four Peking Opera masters of different schools. He graduated from Beijing Opera Art Vocational College.

In 1982, the 4-year-old Fei Zhenxiang participated in the China-Japan Friendship Celebration Conference. In 1986, he went to Hong Kong with the China Peking Opera Theater to perform with the title "Eight-year-old Prodigy Fei Zhen Xiang & Eighty-year-old Drum King Bai Deng Yun."

After studying under director Guan Hu for many years, Fei Zhen Xiang gradually made the transition from actor to director. In 2008, he served as the chief director of the drama part of the movie "Forever Enthralled" (梅兰芳).
